Cinnamon French Toast/French Toast Recipe/How to make French Toast with step by step photos

French toast is a very easy, quick and healthy breakfast, an all-time favourite among kids. I usually prefer to make French toast on Sundays. This French toast has added flavour of the cinnamon powder, which adds extra kick to regular French toast with added health benefits. Meanwhile do check out other interesting and healthy Breakfast Recipes here.

Here's how to make Cinnamon French Toast with step by step photos...

Ingredients
Bread
4 slices
Eggs
2
Milk
¾ cup
Sugar
2 tbsp
Cinnamon powder
½ tsp
Nutmeg powder [optional]
One pinch
Butter/Oil
To cook the toast
Preparation Time: 5-8 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Author: Priya Anandakumar

Method
Beat the eggs and milk together. Now add the sugar, cinnamon powder and beat well.
Heat the tawa, add little butter.

Dip the bread in the egg mixture, the bread should be coated well with the mixture.

Cook the bread on medium heat in the tawa. Cook on both sides until it turns golden brown and remove it from the stove.

Delicious and healthy Cinnamon French Toast is ready to be enjoyed. Serve it hot with honey for breakfast or brunch.

 Suggestions:

Do not cook in high flame, it will only burn the toast.

Always try to use older bread for the French toast, or you can as well buy bread that is especially sold for toast.

Thank you for visiting my blog, please come back again for quick and healthy breakfast recipes.
