Egg Noodles/Easy Egg Noodles Recipe

Today, I am going to share one of the easiest meals that you can make with very less effort and very few ingredients that you have at home. I usually do not fancy about making noodles, but there are days when I am tired of cooking and days when I run out of veggies, that is when noodles come in handy. Whatever it may be, my kids love to have noodles. Adding vegetables is totally your choice, you can add carrot, beans, capsicum, peas, spring onions etc, I have added just green bell peppers here. Do try out this light and tempting Egg noodles and post your comments here. Meanwhile do check out other pasta and noodles recipe here.

Vegetable & Egg Hakka Noodles

Noodles are our kids favorite, but for the past one year I have stopped buying the Maggi Noodles after having read that they are unhealthy and the masala has preservatives in it. But my kids love noodles, so I buy the egg noodles or plain noodles available in the market and make variations in it by adding vegetables, eggs, chicken etc. So friends do try out this delectable Vegetable and Egg Hakka noodles and have a great day.

Kung Pao Chicken

Kung Pao Chicken is a very popular Chinese recipe originated from the Sichuan province of China. It is made my marinating chicken cubes in sauces and then cooked along with dry red chillies and roasted peanuts. The chicken can be either deep fried or stir fried, but I have done the low fat version by just stir frying the chicken. You can as well add cubed red and green bell peppers for added taste and flavour. For now try this exotic Kung Pao chicken and enjoy your day.

Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry - IFC1

I am happy to be part of IFC – International Food Challenge initiated by Mrs. Saraswathi Tharagaram of Saras yummy bites and Mrs. Shobana Sekar of Kitchensecrets and snippets. The objective of this challenge is to explore the world cuisine, try and taste international recipes and learn about different heritage and food in other parts of the world. Thank you very much Sara and Shobana for this wonderful challenge.

The very first challenge in IFC for this month is the Cantonese Cuisine which is one of the main cuisines of China.

For this challenge I chose to do the Chinese Scallion Pancake and the Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry. It was really exotic  and I am sharing Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry in this post and check out the Chinese Scallion Pancake here.
