Today, I am going to share a very easy and quick dessert recipe that can be made in less than 10 minutes. Chocolate Burfi can be made in different ways, this is chocolate burfi is made with Milk Powder as base. I will be sharing Chocolate Burfi with maida in my coming post. Here’s how to make Chocolate Burfi with step by step photos…



¼ cup

Milk Powder

 1 ¼ cup

Cocoa Powder

3 tbsp


¼ cup

Powdered Sugar

½ cup


3-4 chopped for garnishing

Preparation Time: 5 minutes                       Recipe Category: Dessert/Sweet

Cooking Time: 5 minutes                               Recipe Cuisine: Indian

Grease a bowl with oil/ghee and keep it ready.

Heat ¼ cup of ghee in a pan. Let the ghee melt completely.

Add the milk powder and cocoa powder.

Mix everything really well, until well combined.

Now add the milk and mix thoroughly. All the ingredients will come together to one big mass.

At this stage add the powdered sugar.

Mix really well for few seconds.

The ghee will start to leave the sides of the pan, now switch off the stove.

Transfer the cooked Burfi mixture to the greased bowl and smoothen the edges.

Now sprinkle the sliced almonds and let it cool completely. 

Slowly cute it into squares or diamond shapes.

Delicious and super tempting Chocolate Burfi is ready to be enjoyed.
