Here’s how to make Pomfret Fish Fry with step by step photos & video…


Fish/Black Pomfret/Pomfret

4 pieces

Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp [full tsp]

Coriander Powder

¾ tsp

Turmeric Powder

¼ tsp

Lemon Juice

From ½ lemon


As needed

Gingelly Oil

For frying

Preparation Time: 10-12 minutes                Recipe Category: Side Dish

Here's a short video on how to make Fish Fry


Clean the fish pieces thoroughly 2-3 times. Add sea salt and wash thoroughly one last time and drain the water.

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice.

Add water little by little and make a paste.

Apply the masala paste on the fish pieces on all sides. Rest the fish marinated for about 30-45 minutes.

Heat 2 tsp of oil in a griddle/tawa, add the fish pieces and cook evenly on both sides.

When done remove from pan and cook rest of the fish pieces.

Delicious and tempting Fish Fry is ready to be enjoyed.
