Method
Clean the drumstick leaves/murungai keerai from the stem, wash it thoroughly in water and keep it aside.

Heat oil in kadai, splutter mustard seeds, add the cumin seeds and dry red chillies and fry for about 30 secs.

Now add the finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent.

Add the drumstick leaves/murungai keerai, salt and sauté for about a minute. Sprinkle about 1/4  cup of water and let it cook.

When the keerai is cooked and all the water has evaporated, break the eggs all over the keerai. Add the turmeric powder and little salt for the egg.

Now mix the eggs thoroughly and cook on medium flame until the eggs are cooked.

Switch off the stove and enjoy this delectable murungai keerai poriyal with simple rasam or sambar rice.

    1. Hi Lakshmi,
Thanks for trying the recipe, dont cook the keerai in pressure cooker, the poriyal will not taste the same. cook it in kadai itself it cooks really fast. I hope the answer helps, thanks a lot for contacting me sis, do keep visiting for more and more delicious recipes.
