Aloo Tikki/ Potato Cutlet

Aloo Tikki’s means potato cutlet, it is a very healthy food for kids and adults. It requires very little oil and can be made in very little time.

So here's aloo tikki, just dig in to it...


Ingredients

Potatoes
3 boiled and mashed
Peas
½ cup boiled
Green chillies
2 finely chopped
Ginger
½ inch finely chopped
Cumin Seeds
½ tsp
Lemon Juice
1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder
¼ tsp
Cilantro
2 tsp finely chopped
Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp
Salt
As needed
Oil
As needed

Method

In a bowl mix all the ingredients except the oil. Make small lemon sized balls and flatten it to make patties.

Heat the tawa and place the patties, add very little oil along the edges. Keep the stove in medium flame and cook evenly to golden brown on both sides.


Yummy yummy Aloo tikki’s are ready. You can serve it with mint chutney or ketchup.
