Carrot Poriyal


250 gms(finely diced)
Red Chillies
Mustard Seeds
¼ tsp
Cumin Seeds
¼ tsp
Urad dhal
¼ tsp
Curry leaves
Coconut shredded
2 tsp
1 tsp
as needed
In a kadai heat oil, add mustard seeds let it splutter. Then add cumins, urad dhal, curry leaves and red chillies. Sauté for a min.

Now add the carrots, salt and sauté for 3 min. Sprinkle some water, cover and cook for 5 min. Now add the shredded coconut and mix them well and sauté for 2 min.

Carrot poriyal with coconut is ready to be served.
