Fish 65 is a super delectable and tempting starter/appetizer that can be made very quickly. It has perfect blend of spices makes the fish 65 similar to chicken 65. Here’s how to make Fish 65 with step by step photos…

Ingredients

Fish [Boneless]

500g

Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp

Coriander Powder

¾ tsp

Turmeric Powder

½ tsp

Cumin Powder/Jeeraga Thool

1 tsp

Black Pepper Powder

½ tsp

Garam Masala Powder

½ tsp

Ginger & Garlic Paste

1 tsp

Lemon Juice

 From ½ lemon

Yogurt

2 tbsp

Maida/All Purpose Flour

3 tbsp

Corn Flour

1.5 tbsp

Rice flour/Arisi Maavu

1.5 tbsp

Salt

As needed

Oil

For frying

Curry Leaves

8-10 for garnishing

Wash the boneless fish thoroughly with water 2-3 times and drain the water. Add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder to the fish and wash it one last time. Take the boneless fish to a wide bowl.

Squeeze in the lemon juice to the fish pieces.

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper, garam masala powder to the fish pieces.

Add ginger garlic paste, yogurt and salt to the fish pieces.

Mix everything really well until well combined.

Close it and keep it for about 30 minutes.

Now add maida/all-purpose flour, corn flour, rice flour to the fish.

Mix everything really well, if needed sprinkle little water and mix really well.

Now the fish is ready to be fried.

Heat oil in a kadai for frying the fish.

When the oil is hot enough, add the fish pieces to the oil.

Fry the fish equally on all the sides until done and drain it out of the oil.

Delicious Fish 65 is ready to be enjoyed. Similarly fry rest of fish pieces in small batches.

Add a hand full of curry leaves to oil and fry it.


Add the fried curry leaves to the fried Fish 65 and serve it hot.
